Vaping, Scourge or Saviour?

It used to be smoke and mirrors, now it is steam and mirror selfies. In 2006 vaping hit the streets and schools of New Zealand. Since then, it has only grown in popularity, but very few people know the dangers of that raspberry cola vape juice they are inhaling.

Smoking has been around for almost two centuries, but it was only in the 1960s that people noticed a problem. Vaping has been around for 19 years but did not become popular until 2007 so, compared to cigarettes and many other drugs, it is in its infancy. Many of the risks of vaping are unknown. Vaping has taken many schools by storm. This is especially evident at Wellington High School where there are many students vaping.
